What kind of cause does a four year old with $2,000 care about? Pediatric cancer research. Alex Scott was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer, before the age of 1. When she turned four she set up a lemonade stand to donate the proceeds to “help other kids” facing the same disease she was battling and raised $2,000 in one day.
