Floor Mat Systems: Placement

Two weeks ago, Roscoe posted on the benefits of having a mat rental program; today we stress the importance of mat placement. If a mat rental system is properly installed it should get nearly 100% of the dirt coming through the door. The reasoning behind this is that 30% of the dirt coming into a building is picked up in the first three feet of matting, while 85% is picked up in the first 15 feet.
