To commemorate all the hard work and effort that our team has put forth during the first half of the year, the Chicago Uniform Company deemed June 2 “Employee Appreciation Day.”
Throughout 2016 we’ve had several tour groups, potential customers, etc. come from near and far to see our plant and it was only with the help of our great team that we were able to pull it off without a hitch. Whether it was coming in on their off days, staying a little later or picking up trash that needed to be picked up, it was a group effort and we just wanted to show our appreciation. We provided breakfast for the drivers and lunch for all remaining employees.
In combination with celebrating and appreciating the employees, June is also National Safety Month. We want to highlight and remind all employees that Safety is our first priority and should be a known culture inside as well as outside of the workplace. Currently our Production, Admin, Stockroom, and Sales Department have zero incidents year to date. As a reminder that we are striving to work together safely, we handed out Safety Yellow T-shirt to all employees and rewarded those departments that have been accident free with a Target gift card to say thanks for staying safe.
