When our key industry group, the Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA) introduced criteria for a new level of hygienic certification, we took the opportunity to subject our processes to criteria that could set the bar even higher.
While our processes adhere to stringent federal hygiene standards under the HACCP regulation, the TRSA’s Hygienically Clean Certification imposes additional scrutiny of our processes.
Among other criteria, hygienically clean certification requires quarterly microbial testing by an independent laboratory and provides additional peace-of-mind for our clients in the food and health industries.
What This Means for You
- Ensures the effectiveness of sanitizing processes with quarterly, third-party microbial testing of garments conducted by independent laboratory to ensure that sanitizing processes are effective
- Imposes practices like process logs and sign-off procedures to document and maintain consistent processes
- Establishes an additional framework for our continuous improvement efforts
- Helped position us for rapid and effective response to COVID-19 threat
