The Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA) established the Clean Green Certification in 2012 to encourage uniform rental providers to adopt environmentally sustainable practices. The certification acknowledges the implementation of best practices for reclaiming and recycling resources and is awarded to companies that demonstrate responsible leadership in sustainability and conservation.
Clean Green Certified organizations must meet strict quality standards for conserving resources and maximizing sustainability practices. Roscoe was the first industrial launderer to receive this the Clean Green certification in 2012 and remains the only Chicago supplier with this certification.
What This Means for You
A commitment to sustainability isn’t just good for the environment, it’s good for everyone. Each year, we conduct a self-audit of our environmental impact and best management practices. As a result, we have one of the lowest carbon footprints of U.S. laundry systems.
How does this impact our customers? Here are a few benefits:
- Energy Conservation keeps our costs – and our prices – low
- Fleet Vehicle Route Optimization = less gas and faster delivery and pickup
- Advanced Wastewater Treatment ensures hygienic uniforms and planet-safe practices
- Recycling programs keep our communities clean and our environment healthy
At Roscoe we take pride in our commitment to sustainability, the highest possible customer satisfaction and continuous improvement in our processes and services. Those are among the goals that drive us to seek out independent third-party assessments of our processes and services. Learn more: The Roscoe Difference
