Work Uniform Rental Invoices: Request a Roscoe Review

"Special" Price Increases: all work uniform rental contracts have some provision for rate increases based on inflation and other macroeconomic forces, but some – especially the nationals – often use the "special off-cycle price increase" clause to increase rates multiple times a year without notifying you or at best they include a small message on the bottom of your invoice; it's an easy way for a regional manager to increase revenue without increasing service levels or landing new customers
  2. Uniform Shortages: you pay for a certain number of uniforms to be cleaned and available every week; with missing uniforms, credits are rarely issued and they cost you time and productivity and potentially expose your employees to safety issues, putting you in the uniform business and all its potential headaches
  3. Supply Shortages: few customers have time to count their shop towels or their floor mats every week, so don't know if they're being shorted; additionally, like with uniforms, you pay for a certain amount to be cleaned and available every week, however we often find customers are billed for more than they actually use
  4. Poor Uniform Condition: when wear-and-tear goes un-repaired or un-replaced, your image suffers, your employees can be put at risk and morale may fall if employees feel their superiors don't care about how they look; we also find that companies pay for a service that is supposed to cover the cost of garments being replaced, but replacement and/or damage charges still appear on their invoices, also known as double-dipping
  5. Inconsistent Rates: we often come across invoices where two individuals are paying different rates for the same service
