Flame Resistant Work Uniform Laundry Service
Our new client is over 100 years old and designs, builds and maintains electrical power, natural gas distribution and telecommunications systems. Though we offer a rental service, this customer purchased work uniforms that are flame resistant with some also featuring enhanced visibility.
We now service four of their locations in the Chicago area. We stop by each location every week, pick up soiled uniforms and deliver clean product. We don’t purchase, repair or replace these garments, though that is an option for all of our clients. They also pick up and drop off merchandise at Roscoe for another location that requires uniforms be cleaned, dried, packaged, and ready for pick up within 24 hours.
Why They Chose Roscoe & Issues Overcome
Prior to awarding us their business, the company had two representatives tour our facility and they were extremely impressed with our team and processes.
Below are issues our new customer had with their previous supplier that we have addressed with our uniform laundry service:
- Garments were turned in for cleaning, but not returned the following week (shortages) – now, every uniform that Roscoe picks up soiled is returned clean the following week
- Garments were returned clean to the wrong locations, again creating potential shortages – now, all garments that we process have a barcode and RF chip affixed identifying pick-up/delivery location
- Garments were turned in for cleaning, but not labeled by pick-up or delivery location – now, Roscoe immediately affixes a bar code tape and RF chip for tracking purposes upon initial receipt of a garment turned in for cleaning
- They had no single point of contact for all locations being serviced and were often uncertain about who to call when issues arose and the response time was very slow – now, Roscoe has created a single point of contact for all of their locations and we also have a one hour service response policy whenever they call us
