When we made the decision to adopt and hold ourselves accountable under the international system of quality management standards known as ISO 9001, we knew it wouldn't be easy.
But we also knew the value of putting ourselves to the test of third-party scrutiny of our processes. That is built into the culture at Roscoe. We seek out independent confirmation of our efforts wherever there is a credible organization to do it.
We've been able to grow and thrive for nearly 100 years – into our third generation of family ownership – in large part because we have never simply operated under our own instincts for best practices. We put ourselves under the scrutiny of third-party experts for safety, for environmental stewardship, for customer service and for hygienic processing.text

At Roscoe, we help some of the hardest working people in the Chicago area do a better job. Our clients are food manufacturers, wholesalers, agricultural suppliers, automotive workers, printers, wholesalers, distributors, contractors and a whole lot of other businesses where a high-quality work uniform is an essential part of on-the-job safety and professionalism.
It's one part of a culture in which quality is never taken for granted, reinforced with training and a commitment to continuous improvement.
We wouldn't be doing our job if our commitment was any less than that of our customers. That's why our team members participate in an ongoing program of Structured On-the-Job Training and skill building that ensures that our work consistently lives up to the promise of reliable, high-quality, and worry-free work uniform service that our company was built on.text

At Roscoe, we don’t throw around terms like "perfect bundles" and "state-of-the-art" lightly.
We've been perfecting our processes for decades, honing old-fashioned standards for customer service while staying at the forefront of a technological revolution that has provided us with unmatched speed, accuracy and efficiency.
We didn’t do it alone. Along the way, we’ve engaged the toughest safety, quality, and productivity consultants we could find to scrutinize our processes, hold us accountable, and set the bar higher for continuous improvement. We’ve earned our reputation for safety, for environmental responsibility, for hygiene standards and for customer service the only way that counts: by putting ourselves – sometimes literally – under the microscope and opening our processes to the highest standards of evaluation.text

Roscoe CEO Jim Buik has long believed that quality control is built around discipline, collaboration and a shared commitment to continuous improvement and professionalism. Beyond his role as CEO, it’s an approach that Buik carries over into his role as an industry leader.
This month he steps in as 64th chairman of the TRSA, the national trade organization of the linen, uniform and facility services industry.
At Roscoe, we have deep ties to the TRSA, which has long helped to nurture industry leadership and collaboration.text

At Roscoe, we're celebrating 97 years in business today and that is a lot to celebrate.
Nine plus decades have passed since two young entrepreneurs in 1921 recognized a booming city's need for someone to launder all of those work clothes. So we'll start there. Below are 97 reasons we are celebrating today.
Our founders George C. Buik and John P. O'Connell, whose processes may have been dramatically different, but whose pioneering spirit still drives us today. Today, Buik's grandson Jim oversees a facility that employs state-of-the-art technology to deliver unparalleled efficiency, accuracy and customer service.text
