When you read about companies on one of those “Best Places to Work” lists, you begin to see a common theme: employees who are engaged and passionate about their work. A culture that leaves employees feeling valued is a culture that instills not only a sense of purpose, but also a sense of pride in their work.
"Take Pride" is the Roscoe motto, as well as the backbone of Roscoe's company culture, going back four generations, to when CEO Jim Buik’s grandfather, a Scottish immigrant, founded the company in 1921. Back then, Roscoe employees used to wait outside the factories at the end of the day to take uniforms for washing, returning with clean uniforms the next morning.text

At Roscoe, we don’t throw around terms like "perfect bundles" and "state-of-the-art" lightly.
We've been perfecting our processes for decades, honing old-fashioned standards for customer service while staying at the forefront of a technological revolution that has provided us with unmatched speed, accuracy and efficiency.
We didn’t do it alone. Along the way, we’ve engaged the toughest safety, quality, and productivity consultants we could find to scrutinize our processes, hold us accountable, and set the bar higher for continuous improvement. We’ve earned our reputation for safety, for environmental responsibility, for hygiene standards and for customer service the only way that counts: by putting ourselves – sometimes literally – under the microscope and opening our processes to the highest standards of evaluation.text

Roscoe CEO Jim Buik has long believed that quality control is built around discipline, collaboration and a shared commitment to continuous improvement and professionalism. Beyond his role as CEO, it’s an approach that Buik carries over into his role as an industry leader.
This month he steps in as 64th chairman of the TRSA, the national trade organization of the linen, uniform and facility services industry.
At Roscoe, we have deep ties to the TRSA, which has long helped to nurture industry leadership and collaboration.text

Any work uniform provider can tell you that their uniforms are clean.
But ordinary clean doesn't make the grade for industries involved in the production of food or health products. And it doesn't make the grade at Roscoe either.
We work with a lot of businesses in the food industry. Our processes adhere to federal hygiene standards known as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), which impose strict regulations for the removal of bacteria and the prevention of cross contamination among garments.
When the Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA) developed criteria for a new level of hygienic certification, we saw an opportunity to put our processes under the microscope and see if we could raise the bar even higher. And we did.text

At Roscoe, we've worked hard to earn our reputation for providing high quality work uniform rentals and unmatched customer service.
But behind the scenes, we work just as hard to be a good neighbor to our community, a responsible steward of the environment and a leader to the industry.
There's more to running a business than the bottom line. Especially when the business is one your family founded three generations back. We are building something we can be proud to leave to the next generation, and a place where our employees will be proud to work, now – and a decade from now. We want to be an asset to our community – the community where we go to work, where our customers reside and the same community that our team members call home.
We know that's not something that can be accomplished just by talking about it, so here's what we've been up to recently.text
