At Roscoe, we don’t throw around terms like “perfect bundles” and “state-of-the-art” lightly.
We’ve been perfecting our processes for decades, honing old-fashioned standards for customer service while staying at the forefront of a technological revolution that has provided us with unmatched speed, accuracy and efficiency.
We didn’t do it alone. Along the way, we’ve engaged the toughest safety, quality, and productivity consultants we could find to scrutinize our processes, hold us accountable, and set the bar higher for continuous improvement. We’ve earned our reputation for safety, for environmental responsibility, for hygiene standards and for customer service the only way that counts: by putting ourselves – sometimes literally – under the microscope and opening our processes to the highest standards of evaluation.text

Sustainability pays dividends to the environment, but it can also have a positive impact on the bottom line. Many organizations understand the benefits associated with work uniform rentals but reusable shop towels (rags), dust mops, wet mops, and floor mats processed weekly or every other week are also more sustainable and less expensive than disposable products. Having these products available, and in clean condition, reduces overall building maintenance and cleaning costs.text

Now that Earth Day is upon us once again, we at The Roscoe Company have been reflecting on our long history of sustainability. In fact, offering work uniform and floor mat rental services is by itself a sustainable practice for any organization. We've also added other "green" equipment, work processes and products through the years and have been recognized by our industry as well as the governor's office in Illinois for our environmentally friendly efforts.text

The Roscoe Company played host to the recent annual meeting and networking event of the Lawndale Business Renaissance Association (LBRA). The meeting brought together business owners from both Lawndale and Little Village at the Garden City Business Center and was a good opportunity to reflect on the LBRA's impact on the community and how the Garden City Business Center supports local small businesses.
The event, which included the seating of new board members and an awards ceremony, highlighted the association's growing membership and efforts to improve connections between the Lawndale and Little Village communities. The LBRA, which has expanded to include Little Village, was created to revitalize, grow and attract new businesses to the area with a mix of networking, problem solving and facilitating of local, state and federal programs and incentives.
More than 50 companies are members of the association, which has assisted in efforts resulting in more than $8 million in area economic impact since 2014 – including more than $2 million last year.text

The Clean Green Environmental Award from the Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA) recognizes novel approaches by companies and/or facilities to increase sustainability, to conserve natural resources, and to reduce the operation's overall environmental impact.
In 2010, Roscoe won the inaugural TRSA Clean Green Environmental Award primarily for having consolidated two plants and becoming the most efficient commercial laundry in the nation. We've also been Clean Green Certified every year since the certification was created in 2012.
We earned this year's TRSA Clean Green Environmental Award for our Best Management Practices involving water reuse, reclamation and removal, as well as for various environmentally-conscious changes made in our physical workplace, including the initiatives below.text
