Hand air dryers found in many workplace bathrooms could be making your hands dirtier – sucking up bacteria from the bathroom air and depositing it onto your just-washed hands. That was what researchers found in a widely reported study last year.
University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Quinnipiac University researchers found that electric hand air dryers can pull in germs distributed by lidless toilets and blow them back out onto people’s hands. These germs can then be spread throughout the entire office space.text

At Roscoe we know work doesn't stop just because the mercury takes a dive. We've spent nine decades in the business of getting some of the hardest working people in the Chicago area dressed for work. Outerwear is something we take very seriously in these parts. Seriously. It's been cold. You may have heard.
Still. It's Chicago, and in Chicago, we know the difference between outerwear that works and outerwear that just takes up space.
That's why, beginning this month, we're adding the Carhartt line of outerwear to our corporate apparel offerings. Carhartt has been dressing hard-working employees since Hamilton Carhartt first created a bib overall for the railroad industry in 1889. Together we offer you and your team some of the finest cold-weather work garments available anywhere, along with a combined 228 years of first-rate customer service.text

The right work uniform program is a critical part of your business, and when it’s managed properly, it isn’t something that you have to spend a lot of time thinking about. It does what it’s supposed to do – building brand identity, keeping your employees safe and reflecting the professionalism of the job you do – without a lot of fuss or bother.
The wrong work uniform program has a way of showing up everywhere, sowing delay, aggravation and, eventually, chaos into every process. If you’ve experienced missing uniforms or uniforms in poor repair, you already know what the wrong work uniform provider looks like. But what does the right provider look like? How do you know if you switch that things will be any different?text

Like many people, we love the excuse to hit the toy aisles this time of year, especially with so many opportunities to buy for children whose families can't, but one of our favorite December campaigns is a reminder that many Chicago-area children need far more important items.
Since 2006, Coat Angels has reached out to teachers and social workers in schools in impoverished neighborhoods to identify students who need winter clothing. The program started with 20 children and now serves more than 4000. Each child receives a brand-new coat, fleece pullover, a hat and gloves. The coats are purchased new for each child and the volunteers ensure they are a perfect fit.
"We give these kids a sense of worth and a sense of pride," says founder Micki LeSueur. "And this is one little area of their life where they have something that was picked out just for them. It's not a hand-me-down. It lets them know they are worth our time and our thought."text

At Roscoe, we don’t throw around terms like "perfect bundles" and "state-of-the-art" lightly.
We've been perfecting our processes for decades, honing old-fashioned standards for customer service while staying at the forefront of a technological revolution that has provided us with unmatched speed, accuracy and efficiency.
We didn’t do it alone. Along the way, we’ve engaged the toughest safety, quality, and productivity consultants we could find to scrutinize our processes, hold us accountable, and set the bar higher for continuous improvement. We’ve earned our reputation for safety, for environmental responsibility, for hygiene standards and for customer service the only way that counts: by putting ourselves – sometimes literally – under the microscope and opening our processes to the highest standards of evaluation.text
